Ingredients
Pitas
- 4 medium pita breads, cut into 4 wedges
- 1 kg lean ground meat
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 tsp. 7-spices blend
- 1 tsp. ground coriander
- 2 tsp. sumac tea
- 2 tsp. olive oil
- Salt to taste
Yogurt
- 2 tsp. dried mint
- 3 Lebanese cucumbers, peeled and diced
- 650 g plain yogurt
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the meat with the onion, 7 spices, sumac, coriander and salt.
- Spread a thin layer of the meat mixture inside the pitas.
- Brush the top of the meat and both sides of the bread with a little olive oil. Put on a parchment paper-covered tray and put in the oven at 350 ° C until the meat is cooked.
- Meanwhile, put the yogurt in a bowl, dilute with a little water to liquefy it a little, add mint, cucumbers and salt. Mix well.
- You can add a few chopped fresh mint leaves on the yogurt to decorate.
